Kim is a passionate WOC nurse with experience in pediatrics, adults, acute care and home care, 25 years of experience. She currently practices at a community hospital focused on pressure injury prevention; including going 6 months without a HAPI for a 197-bed hospital. Her past practice includes work at a wound care center, and inpatient nursing at a level one trauma, academic hospital that includes a free-standing children’s hospital. Her passion for pediatrics and her patients led Kim to provide over 11 years of camp service at multiple camps including Youth Rally, a summer camp for kids ages 11-17 with bowel and bladder conditions. She has also traveled extensively internationally to assist with mobile clinics in Dominican Republic, a bush hospital in Zambia, a boat clinic in Bolivia in the Amazon jungle, epidemic nursing / field hospital work in Haiti, and WOC nurse education in Chad.
