Dot has spent over 4 decades practicing ostomy and wound care in all sites of care and has practiced for the past 24 years in outpatient care. She works as a Consultant and Educator in Holland, Michigan, and is a clinician at Holland Hospital Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dot is the Co-Chair of the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care, was a founding faculty and continues to teach the Wound Certification Prep Course, is the Secretary for the International Wound Infection Institute. She lives in Holland, Michigan with her husband, Lee, and their pups Maggie and Lexi.
