Description

Hard to heal wounds often present with yellow/tan material on the wound surface that requires attention/removal for the wound to progress. The material may be necrosis; dead tissue attached to live, or it may be congealed exudates, coagulum that still needs to be removed, but the approach will be different. This session will explore these concepts, using case studies, to discuss best practice for removal.
