Description
This session will describe the methods and strategies for management of a patient with a simple and/or complex abdominal fistula.
Fistula management will include assessment of abdominal contours, fistula type, effluent characteristics, perifistular skin, and fistula opening.
Various fistula pouching and perifistular skin protection principles will be explored.
