The challenge of determining the differential diagnosis and management for lower extremity wounds may be confusing even for the most experienced wound clinician. Is it lipedema, lymphedema or venous disease? Just like choosing which road to take when you are at a fork in the road, choosing the right diagnosis is critical for prompt and appropriate treatment of these diseases.
