Laura Berry White graduated from Villanova University in 2006, following this she obtained her post-baccalaureate certification in wound, ostomy and continence in 2009 from LaSalle University and achieved her master’s in nursing from Northeastern University in 2013.
She has been a family nurse practitioner for over 12 years, a Wound Ostomy Nurse for over 15 years and certified in palliative and hospice nursing for over 7 years.
Throughout her nursing career, Laura has gained experience in multiple settings; from a medical surgical floor at Rhode Island Hospital, to a solid organ transplant unit at Beth Israel Lahey, to Massachusetts General Hospital where she rotated throughout outpatient clinics, ER consults, OR consults, and pediatrics consults in her WOCN role.
As a FNP she worked in Primary care for 4 years, seeing patients both in the office setting and in the home setting. She has been in the Hospice and Palliative care world since 2017, consulting with mostly patients on hospice with wound, ostomy and skin breakdown. She has also created educational materials and experiences for the clinical staff.
