Jianlei Liu is a registered nurse with specialized clinical and research expertise in the holistic care of patients living with intestinal stomas. His primary research portfolio centers on self-management, psychosocial adaptation, social integration, return to work, and quality of life among enterostomy patients, with a dedicated focus on digital health and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven interventions designed to enhance patients’ self-care capacity, psychological resilience, and long-term wellbeing. He has contributed to multiple clinical studies focused on continuous care for stoma patients, including the mixed-methods study featured in this presentation, which evaluates the efficacy of a 9-month AI-assisted self-management intervention for 52 colorectal cancer patients with intestinal stomas. He has published multiple peer-reviewed SCI-indexed papers and Chinese journal papers in the fields of wound, ostomy and continence (WOC) care, and gastrointestinal cancer rehabilitation.
