(407) A Physical Therapist’s Perspective on Advanced Therapies for the Management of UI/LUTS

Description
Advanced therapies target the cause of complex conditions with the highest level of skill and quality interventions based on evidence and clinical practice guidelines. This one-hour lecture will discuss the evidence for advanced conservative management for LUTS focusing on bladder storage (urgency, frequency, incontinence) in adult men and women. We will discuss accurate assessment including EMG, Imaging ultrasound, and measured bladder dairy and interventions including PFMT (biofeedback, coordination of PFM with ADL and abdominal wall function), bladder training (including fluid modifications), neuromodulation options (including TTNS, PTNS, and SNS).
