Karen Kennedy-Evans has been a nurse for 52 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner for 48. Karen worked at a 500 bed long term care center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 25 years and started a skin and wound care team in 1983. In 1992 Karen moved to Tucson, where her practice included bariatric clients which taught her the devastation of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Joanne M. Labiak MSN, CRNP, CWOCN, CWS, DAPWCA is the owner of Certified Wound Care Specialists LLC, a private practice providing nurse practitioner assessments, care, and management strategies to patients with alterations of skin integrity including wound, ostomy, and fistula management.
Tammy Jensen Lichtman RN, BSN CWON is an Assistant Nurse Manager of a multi campus, inpatient wound and ostomy department at AdventHealth Orlando. She currently provides care in the inpatient setting as well as outpatient clinic and home health care.
