Karen Kennedy-Evans has been a nurse for 52 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner for 48. Karen worked at a 500 bed long term care center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 25 years and started a skin and wound care team in 1983. In 1992 Karen moved to Tucson, where her practice included bariatric clients which taught her the devastation of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Kathy Knetter has been a wound ostomy Nurse Practitioner at a rural tertiary care center for 15 years. She cares for inpatient and outpatient ostomy patients across the lifespan with a wide variety of medical needs. Scissorless ostomy skin barriers are a staple in the everyday care of patients in her practice and have been for nearly ten years.
Dr. Diane Krasner is a board certified wound nurse with over 35 years of experience in wound, ostomy & incontinence care across the continuum of care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and a Master of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Krasner is a Wound & Skin Care Consultant, Educator and Expert Witness.
