Hydrocolloid Adhesive

Hydrocolloid adhesive is medical-grade adhesive ideal for surgical applications, medical device attachment, wound care, ostomy, and cosmetics. Hydrocolloid is a conformable, gel-like material that provides adhesion to the skin even in problematic areas of the body. Due to the occlusive nature of wound care hydrocolloids, moisture is captured beneath the dressing to promote healing. Hydrocolloid adhesive is Non-Skin sensitizing and does not traumatize the skin upon being removed. Most hydrocolloids are waterproof allowing patients to wear the adhesive for several days and allow for normal washing and bathing. The use of  hydrocolloid adhesive provides many benefits.
