The World Council of Enterostomal Therapists® (WCET®) was founded by Norma N. Gill in 1978 and proudly has members in over 65 countries. Our mission is to fulfill our founder’s vision that all patients with ostomy, wound, or continence needs receive care from nurses who have specialized knowledge of this specialty. 2021 is the year we celebrate the 101st birthday of WCET®’s founder and the 41st anniversary of the WCET® Journal which is published in English, Chinese, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. WCET disseminates ET nursing information through the quarterly WCET® Journal, biennial international congresses, educational webinars, and products and the bullETin: The magazine for WCET® members.
