Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada ( NSWOCC) is a registered charity who believes that every patient experiencing a wound, ostomy or continence issue deserves specialized care. NSWOCC wholly owns and operates the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Institute which supports the the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Education Program (WOC-EP) globally, providing baccalaureate-prepared Registered Nurses with post graduate education and preparation for Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification in the wound, ostomy and continence tri-specialty with a focus on quality clinical and cost outcomes.Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence ( NSWOC)are the only registered nurses in Canada who are eligible to write the CNA certification exam in the tri-specialty of wound, ostomy and continence care. The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Institute also provides continuing education in Advanced Wound Debridement, Wound Management, Paramedic speciic wound management and Skin Wellness for licensed Practical Nurses and Diploma RNs. NSWOCC also supports best practice recommendation, position statement and decision aid development.
