Carol Mathews has been a WOC for 40 years. In her current role, the WOC department is aligned with the quality and safety department. Adverse advents were linked to the use of Fecal Management systems. Carol will describe the dual campus initiative that resulted in significant practice changes in the use of fecal management systems. This process was recognized by the PA Safety authority for reducing adverse events.
