Description

Supported by ConvaTec Inc.

During this interactive session we will share the evidence supporting the case for ‘breaking the silence’ and build confidence and skills to make sexual well-being an everyday part of the holistic person-centred care you provide. We will discuss how to plan, initiate and hold the conversation at different stages across the patient pathway and signpost resources to empower sexual well-being independence for those you provide specialist stoma care for.

Learning Outcome

• To review the evidence that supports the case for ‘breaking the silence’ associated with sexual wellbeing for those living with a stoma.
• To build health care professional confidence and skills to engage in a sexual well-being conversation supporting holistic person-centred care
