Simpurity Super Absorbent Pads are made of a non-woven super absorbent fiber that will absorb up to 20x its weight of fluid. One layer of Super Absorbent Pad is
equal to 36 layers of medical gauze. The pads will maintain a moist wound environment by allowing for breathability of moisture and oxygen for wound healing. Anti-seepage to prevent wound from leaking. A great alternative to ABD pads.
Application:
1. Clean the wound with sterile cleanser or saline water and dry the surrounding skin
2. Choose the right size of dressing to cover the wound according to wound area
3. Apply the dressing to the wound
4. Secure the dressing with medical tape
Changing Frequency:
Dressing change frequency will depend on the patient’s condition and the level of exudate. Initially it may be necessary to change the dressing every 24 hours. When the exudate reduces then dressing change frequency may slow down.
Dressing Removal:
Gently remove the tape. Peel from the edge of the used dressing to remove it from the wound bed. Repeat application steps.

SimpurityTM Super Absorbent Pad dressings are indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as: surgical incisions, laceratons, abrasions, burns, donor or skin graft sites, leg ulcers, pressure injuries or any exudating wound.
