  • UOAA now has a new Eating with an Ostomy Guide to provide to your patients and give you answers to their questions.

    This comprehensive nutrition guide for people living with an ostomy was created and reviewed by a team of WOC nurses, nutritionists, physicians and ostomy patients. 

    There is no specific “ostomy diet” but there are important considerations as patients discover the foods that work best for them. This is an excellent resource for your ostomy patients! Use this form to receive one free copy for being a WOCNext attendee.

Sessions within this conference awarded advanced practice and pharmacology credit. 

Attendees were able to earn one nursing Contact Hour for every hour of education time. Learners had to complete an evaluation to receive Contact Hours.
