  • Mepilex Border Flex was designed to conform and stay on for longer wear time and reduced dressing changes.  By reducing dressing changes, Mepilex Border Flex may support undisturbed wound healing as well as a reduction in cost.1,2  Innovative Flex Technology allows it to move in every direction, reducing skin stress, increasing comfort3-5 and keeping it in place. The five-layer dressing absorbs, channels and traps moderate to heavy exudate and allows you to track progress. It also keeps exudate containing bacteria from the wound bed and minimizes re-entry, even under compression.6

    For wounds with depth or additional exudate management needs, Exufiber Ag+  can be used in combination with Mepilex Border Flex. 

    Exufiber Ag+ dressings with Hydrolock® Technology are unique, next generation gelling fiber dressings made of tightly packed fibers to minimize the free space for fluid or exudate to flow, keeping it locked in. This structure simultaneously increases the integrity of the entire dressing to stay intact, without the need for reinforcing threads to hold it together.  

    Exufiber Ag+ efficiently transfers exudate from the wound bed to the secondary dressing,7 while locking in exudate to minimize leakage and reduce the risk for maceration. 8–11, 18 It promotes autolytic debridement,8  locks in exudate and stays intact both during use and at removal. 8-12  The superior exudate lock-in capacity11 provides moist wound healing and supports a clean wound bed, aimed at reducing additional nursing time for wound cleansing. Through the combination of Hydrolock Technology and silver sulfate, Exufiber Ag+ removes wound debris that supports bacteria growth and biofilm reformation. 16,17  It provides antimicrobial effect up to seven days on a broad range of pathogens 13–17.

    The Z-Flex boot combines Mölnlycke’s unique fluidized positioner with a single low-pressure air chamber. The fluidized positioner molds and contours around the vulnerable Achilles tendon, supporting and protecting the tendon.   • Z-Flo Fluidized Positioners are used to redistribute force over a greater surface area or to help offload bony prominences while maintaining neutral body alignment. Unlike beanbag positioners and pillows, these unique fluidized positioners are not subject to the effect of gravity or memory. Once molded to meet the anatomic needs of an individual patient, they will hold that shape until remolded, and are available in a range of sizes.

    Z-Flo positioners can be used to help protect the occiput by providing pressure redistribution while maintaining proper head and neck alignment. You can also easily mold space to protect the ears or to create channels for medical devices. Other areas of use include the shoulders, back, hips, knees and ankles to support a side-lying position.
