NURSING CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15115. 

LEARNING OUTCOME

Following this conference, learners will report in their post-activity evaluations, an improved understanding of current research, treatments, techniques, products, and professional practice tools which they can apply to their current roles in various practice settings within the field of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence nursing practice. It is also expected that three months following the conference, a subset of learners will report application of the knowledge and skills acquired or reinforced during the conference to their practice and report changes to their practice as well as impacts on patient outcomes.

CONTACT HOURS

This activity awards a maximum of 46 Contact Hours and 4 hours of Pharmacology Credit. (Actual credit hours are to be determined.)

Attendees are able to earn one nursing Contact Hour for every hour of education time. Learners complete an evaluation to receive Contact Hours. Visit the evaluation website here.
