Indianapolis, Indiana, June 24, 2021 - EHOB is proud to announce the launch of its new ATR+ Pro™ Turning and Repositioning System. It is designed to simplify strenuous turning, repositioning, and boosting by allowing smooth movements that help reduce staff injury and sacral pressure injuries.
Remaining under the patient at all times, this multi-component system allows for immediate assistance and accessibility to improve workflow efficiency and workplace safety. The ATR+ Pro™ Turning and Repositioning System includes an ATR+ Pro Repositioning Sheet, a ComfortTop® ES Absorption Pad, and Position Perfect® Wedges.
The ATR+ Pro Repositioning Sheet is designed to help reduce staff exertion and effort needed to move patients. It’s inner foam core decreases bunching beneath the patient while the friction reducing nylon minimizes abrupt motions. Its Extender Straps and Handles enable optimal hand placement.
The ComfortTop ES Absorption Pad is designed for moisture management to eliminate skin breakdown. With its exceptional strength and moisture wicking capabilities, the ATR+ Pro absorbs and retains 98% of 100ml of fluid in under 60 seconds1. Its oversized absorption area offers additional protection, while its backing material provide maximum patient comfort by reducing bunching.
The Position Perfect Wedges are designed to offload the sacrum and reduce the risk of pressure injuries. Its immersive foam brings comfort to the patient, while its infographics promote proper placement guidance. In addition, its handles enable easy removal from under the patient and its wipeable surface provides simple cleaning for infection control.
“Healthcare workers frequently put their own health and safety at risk to care for their patients. 48% of injuries resulting in days away from work are caused from patient handling movements like lifting, bending, and reaching. The ATR+ Pro System is designed to keep healthcare workers safe, as well as patients. 2.5 million patients annually develop a pressure injury. Giving healthcare workers the proper tools to safely turn, reposition and boost patients encourages pressure injury prevention.” -James Bui, Chief Operating Officer
